They are OUTSIDE the building! This makes it much easier for you to enjoy their habit with them.

Most Malls have 8 to 10 entrances and a Food Court. The Anchor tenants have their own private employee entrances. Don't be a jerk... NEVER HANG OUT BY A PRIVATE ENTRANCE. Malls have beefed up security and you will look stupid trying to explain to a Security Guard that you are just there to watch women smoke! That just won't fly! Remember also that Malls have security cameras everywhere... stay out of the line of sight. You are there to watch women smoke not make a scene.

Start at the Food court! Why the food court? Because you can get a cup of coffee or a snack and find a table near a window overlooking the entrance. You can casually sip on your coffee while customers and Mall employees go outside to smoke. It's a great vantage point... you just need to find the right table. Nobody will hassle you and if you drink your coffee slowly you can take 45 minutes to an hour without drawing unnecessary attention to yourself. You are not doing anything illegal, but don't make yourself look like a "Creepy Mall Rat" either. It's much easier for guys in their teens to early 20's to blend in. Middle aged guys at the Mall in the middle of the day - alone - really does seem kind of creepy. It would be a good idea to take a lady along with you! Also make sure you position yourself so you are not looking directly into the sun!

Have you ever worked in a Mall? Trust us... more than half of all the women that work in these Malls are Smokers! They used to congregate in "break rooms" and smoke it up. But now most of them are relegated to designated smoking areas OUTSIDE. That's great news if you take advantage of it!

Check the entrances/exits when you walk into the Mall for public ashtrays. Note if you see a lot of spent butts? Do the butts have lipstick marks? Then you're in! An ashtray full of lipstick coated cigarette butts is a "sure thing" for you! In more upscale Malls the ashtrays are cleaned frequently so it's hard to tell, but in some of the middle class suburban Malls it can be hours and hours before the ashtrays get cleaned.

In the colder winter months women will congregate near the entrances (who wants to be cold?). Smoke breaks will be much shorter as well. Bonus! - an advantage of the colder weather is a more visible smoke stream during the exhale! Winter smokers tend to "hide" behind the architecture of the entry. Look in the spaces - perhaps behind or near a pillar, or just around the corner or by loading zones near, but not at the stores private entrance. Remember private entrances are OFF LIMITS! Forget about them... there are many other great spots. In about an hour you can check out most of the entrances/exits at the Malls.

In the warmer months its even easier - benches and shade trees are the give away. And it's sometimes even easier because so many women like to read books on their breaks. They go outside and smoke and read and they will hardly even notice you watching them. Be sure to wear tasteful sunglasses so you can watch without being too obvious and not be blinded by the sun. The nice thing about the warmer months is the sunshine really emphasizes the VISIBLE SMOKE. Never get to close to a woman that is sitting outside ALONE or not in public view. Trick #1 - Find out if they smoke:

You see a nice looking woman go outside - you think she may be a smoker. So you go outside to the smoking area... you watch and she isn't lighting up. You pull out your Marlboro Lights and begin to tap the pack... check for her reaction, does she look at you funny? Or does she look like someone who wants a cigarette? If she looks like the latter walk over near her as you open the pack... oops you forgot your lighter... you ask if she has a light. She either says yes or no. If she says yes be sure to offer her a cigarette. This is a sure thing if she has a lighter.

Trick #2 - Breaking the ice:

You see a woman smoking, you take your cigarette out and try to light it... oops your lighter isn't working (Always carry a lighter that doesn't work), she sees that you can't light you cigarette. You look at her and say "I guess I should quit - I've already used all the fluid in this lighter, may I borrow a light". This statement will allow you to learn a lot about HER SMOKING HABITS quickly. She will most certainly respond by offering you her lighter, and she will probably also respond with a "I know what you mean". Trick #3 - The 2 cigarette Trick.

This time however when you try you "bad lighter" and she doesn't have a light keep digging through your pockets for matches - paper matches. Of course you will "luckily" find them (just in case she doesn't have a light). You then offer her your "last" cigarette. Women dig this... because it makes them feel special. You are giving her your LAST ONE.
